Hi! My name is Lauren. When I first hatched this idea and I was struggling to find a name it struck me that the family initials we had always used would work perfectly for what I envisioned: a way to be creative and give back to the community. Alms is the traditions giving of money or food for the poor, and before my son was born it was also the initials for the members of my family (we are now Lame-and even though that aptly describes us it just doesn’t work for the mission of the business).
